Seven

I didn’t realize how much work goes into creating and launching a website. In the last eight months, I went from researching different web designers, to choosing a logo and theme to learning how to update my website. Not only was I working on my website but I was also figuring out how to increase my social media presence and schedule test shoots all while working a 9 to 5.

To say I felt overwhelmed would be an understatement. I knew the process wouldn’t be easy, but the last several months left me completely frustrated. Things I thought would be simple and easy to accomplish took longer than I had expected and the longer it took, the more I began to doubt myself.

At times setbacks, failures and disappointments became too much to bear and I just felt like quitting. That’s the thing with doubt it will make you question every single thing you do. However, it was during those difficult times that I had to take a step back and remember my why.

I know this journey is God’s way of preparing me to live and strive in my purpose. Seven years ago I decided I wanted to be a Makeup Artist and here I am seven years later still pursing my dream. Seven signifies completion and as one journey ends for me, a new one begins. I am so proud of what I have accomplished so far and I can’t wait to see where the next journey takes me.

Until next time
